Brown Floral Chirimen Crepe 'Bingata' Vintage Kimono Silk By the Yard #852

Bingata-inspired print with warm brown, golden yellow, teal, red, burgundy, olive, green.  This chirimen crepe is thin and light, flowy and supple, with good drape, a dry hand and no shine. It has a bit of a pebbly texture, but is on the smooth side for chirimen. The print is so perfectly executed that it may not be a true hand-stenciled bingata but it's hard to tell.  14" wide and sold by the full yard, this vintage kimono silk is unused, has been carefully stored and is in excellent condition. We'll cut yours in one piece from the never-used bolt.  100% Silk. Japan.
