Cranberry Jungle All-Over Shibori Kimono Silk Pieces 8.5" x 45" #4048

Deep red silk shibori is an abstract of flowers and leaves. Dynamic overall shibori work on lush, flowy and soft silk with lots of 'shibori crinkle' texture. Each tiny tie-dye rounded-square was tied by hand on the jacquard silk before dying the reds, then all the threads removed after the silk was dry. The cranberry red is more blue-red than orange-red, and is blended with a bit of hot pink and darkest orange. Vintage kimono silk in perfect condition. Japan.

If you buy all 6 pieces, you'll also receive a large piece 14" x 81", with the shibori work only on half... down the length. The other half is the base jacquard with all the reds but no shibori, and no crinkles.
