Silk Sari, 42" x 6 yards, Vintage Saree, Purple/Turquoise/Light Gray #SR41

Vintage sari is soft, light, flowy, supple, smooth, beautifully printed in purple and aqua-turqoise on a light silvery gray background. Pure silk from India. The first 39" is the larger-scale, more ornate pallu print, made up of wide stripes, which would be draped in front when the sari was worn, then 5 yards of the smaller-scale, unstriped print. 42" x 6 yards plus 6 inches. The back is lighter; the print is not as strong. This silk isn't quite as thin, supple and light as SR29 and has a little bit of body. We see no problems and it's in quite good condition. LIghtweight silk -  all 6 yards weighs just 9 ounces.

This is just a sari, not made into a kantha throw.
