Sheer Soft Copper Handloom Silk Gauze Shibori, India. 2-5/8 yard panels. #405
Red Rock Country meets India, in this gossamer sheer crinkle silk created with wavy lines of overall shibori. Stunning spicy pale copper/reddish brown tones that change throughout the piece, areas where the copper almost didn't reach, undulations, bumps and crinkles ... artisan silk from India. Be ready; this silk is unique, full of color and shibori variance, crinkles and change, a few threads still needing to be picked out from the shibori work (simple - they're loose and clipped). Heavenly soft sheer silk gauze. Light as a cloud in Moab/Cinnamon/Cognac/Red Clay tones. Stupendous sari silk from India wonderful for shawls, ponchos, dresses and scarves, sheer curtains, etc.
The artisans created this silk in panels, by hand, using several time-consuming processes, and that is how we sell them. Each piece is 40" wide and 94" long, so 2-5/8 yards. Please let me know if you need more than we have in stock so we can try to get more for you.
The last photo shows a panel hanging over a 24" rod, hanging down about 36".
