Magic Carpet Ride Woven Cotton from India By the Yard #CHL-925

Crosswise yarn-dyed abstract variegated stripes on 100% lightweight cotton reads as golden olive, but changes a lot, each time you look at it more layers and blends are revealed. The warp is black and the weft is bright red-orange and bright yellow, and the combinations they create seem to be endless. Reds show up alot, and sometimes the yellow and black seems to look a bit towards green. It's mesmerizing and gorgeous, probably better than you're thinking, and hard to describe. Yarn-dyed, soft, quite smooth 100% cotton is a bit lighter in weight than most quilting cottons. It has a few slubs but not many. The moving 'stripes' vary and shift in color and thickness. When washed, the weave tightens a bit and softens even more. For quilting, shirts, tops, dresses, tunics, shorts, pants, vests, bedding, pillows, napkins, runners, etc. Handwash separately cold, no bleach, line dry, cool iron.
