Crosswise yarn-dyed abstract soft-stripes streak through deep blue-green 100% mid-weight cotton for apparel, quilts, home dec. This cotton is about quilting-cotton weight and almost as tightly woven. Reds, golds, and russets were ikat-dyed before weaving, and create the variegated, skinny crosswise streak/stripes. Rustic 100% cotton, same front and back, with beautiful 'imperfections', striations and variance which impart uniqueness, heart and soul. (Clearly this is not a big-factory fabric). Soft, fairly smooth with some slubs. Heavenly to wear shirts, tops, dresses, tunics, shorts, pants, vests. The color combination and the woven dark/light are beautiful. Handwash separately cold, no bleach, line dry, cool iron. Or test first then machine wash and dry, which has worked fine for us. This fabric is for the Southwest or anywhere! Made in India.
