Black Toasted Cinnamon Vintage Silk Sari, 42" x 5.5 yards, #SR45

This sari is 5-1/2 yards of light, fine, flowy, soft and drapey silk from India.  The black, cinnamon, butter yellow, and cream leaves and blossoms kaleidoscope print on the "Main" portion is about 4-1/2 yards.  The same colors appear with a bit of light sage also, in the fancier, one yard "Pallu" portion, which has decorated stripes across the width from selvedge to selvedge. This vintage sari is in excellent condition; probably barely worn. The 2" wide cinnamon jacquard border is on both long edges and is wonderful: tiny flowers and geometric shapes.  This silk is supple, light and flowy, what we'd call a mid-weight habotai with a mild soft lustrous sheen. The print is vivid and strong on both sides. 5.5 yards of 42" wide, 100% Silk. India. Weight about 8 ounces.  Order "1" for this lovely sari.
