SALE, Red "Kasuri Ikat" Vintage Kimono Fabric Wool Blend from Japan by the Yard # 527

Red and cream plus an apricot tone in the figures, this woven wool blend is thin and light and kasuri-like but is actually a print. On the back, it's just the smooth, slubby red and cream cross-weave, without the faux kasuri printed design. It's 75% wool/25% poly, and feels smooth, more like cotton or a wool/silk blend in our opinion.  The red and cream together read as light red, the two colors do stand out, and it looks just like a true ikat. 14" wide, sold and cut by the full yard; yours will be in one continuous piece from the never-used, excellent condition vintage bolt. Wool/Poly,  Japan. 

To us, the color reads as light red, not towards orange.
